• Put a pillow behind your back when you have to drive long distances. This will help you sit up straight and prevent low back ache.
• Move your weight from one foot to the other when you have to stand for long periods. Try to lift one foot, rest it on something, and alternate between feet.
• Move the whole body when you turn instead of just twisting at the waist.
• Make sure your mattress supports your body properly.
• Sleeping on your side is the best way to sleep.
• If you have to lie on your back, prop a pillow under your knees and lower back.
• It is better to not sleep on your stomach as this can cause strain on your back.
